Arpan Maity, M.Tech.
Research Overview: Arpan Maity obtained his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Adamas University, Kolkata, India. He is currently pursuing an M.Tech. in Data Science and Digital Transformation at the same university with a CGPA of 9.61. His research interests primarily focus on Computer Vision in Healthcare, including medical image segmentation using architectures such as UNet and ASPP, and object detection models like YOLO integrated with GhostNet. He also works with Transformer-based architectures for text processing and has research experience with Variational Autoencoder (VAE) models, contributing to several papers in these domains. His work spans surface anomaly detection, oral disease classification, nail disease diagnosis, sarcasm detection in code-mixed content, and palm line segmentation. He has published in reputed journals and conferences, including the IAENG International Journal of Computer Science and multiple IEEE conferences.
